After encapsulating this Neptune Beach, FL crawl space, it was important to ensure any water reaching the area could be safely redirected away from the home. To accomplish this, our team installed a dedicated drainage line and discharge outlet that carries collected water away from the foundation.
This drainage system works alongside the encapsulation system to help keep the crawl space dry and protected. By directing water to a safe discharge point outside the home, the homeowner gains an added layer of defense against moisture intrusion, helping preserve the benefits of their newly encapsulated crawl space for years to come.
Rainwater was dumping too close to the foundation with short gutter downspouts. Longer downspouts were buried to carry water away from the foundation. This helped to prevent water from pooling around the foundation and causing erosion and water damage.flooding.
Our LawnScape Outlet is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape outlet. This pipe lets water out onto the surface while camouflaging the pipe end. The lid comes off for easy cleaning, minimizing home maintenance.
We replaced this customers existing vapor barrier line due to multiple puddles of standing water that was causing musty odors throughout the home. Our 20-mil thick CleanSpace Liner was permanently fastened to the floor and walls in the crawl space to prevent moisture from seeping through.
