The original crawlspace (seen in the "before" image) had exposed soil, sagging insulation, and lacked the structural support necessary to maintain floor levelness. Using our SmartJack support system, we installed adjustable steel piers to lift and reinforce the floor joists, ensuring long-term stability.
We also encapsulated the crawlspace with a durable vapor barrier to lock out moisture, improve air quality, and prevent future wood rot or mold growth. Now, this homeowner enjoys a cleaner, sturdier foundation and peace of mind knowing their home is protected from the ground up.
Our team installed SmartJack support posts to level a sagging floor by first assessing the affected area to determine the extent of the sagging and identifying the underlying cause. Next, we excavated and prepared stable bases for the SmartJacks, ensuring proper load distribution. The SmartJacks were then installed and adjusted to provide the necessary support, gradually lifting the floor to its original level. Finally, we secured the system and verified its stability to ensure long-term effectiveness.
Our team installed the TrenchDrain Surface Drainage System by first excavating a trench, then laying and securing the drain components, and finally backfilling the trench. The TrenchDrain system effectively collects and redirects surface water, preventing pooling and potential water damage, ensuring a dry and safe environment.
