Our crew began by carefully excavating around the affected foundation and removing sections of the walkway. This provided access for the foundation stabilization work and allowed a new underground drainage line to be installed to carry downspout water away from the home.
After installing the underground drainage line, our crew connected it to a discharge outlet positioned away from the home. This system helps carry downspout water safely across the yard, reducing the amount of water collecting near the foundation.
With the work area exposed, our crew installed a helical pier beneath the footing. The pier transfers the home's weight to stronger, load-bearing soil, helping stabilize the foundation and prevent further settlement.
Once the foundation pier and underground drainage system were installed, our crew poured new concrete to restore the walkway. The completed area provides a clean finish while keeping the new drainage connection securely in place.
